Strain: Nirvana's Black Jack
Space: 4x4x6.5' grow tent
Soil: Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Nutes: fox farm trio
Veg/Flower time: 7 weeks/10-11 weeks
Yield: around 9oz from 4 plants and a quarter of hash
Smoke/High: real smooth smoke once cured. Didnt get as much flavor as I wouldve liked but the high is great. Definitely sativa dominant, heady high that had me laughing my ass off. Burns great and makes for perfect joints.
This was my first grow, I started with 5 seeds and all germinated. I tossed one and planted the others. I tried not to burden myself since this was my first time and all in all I was pleased with my results. Definitely going to do some topping/lst this next go around with my Super Lemon Haze to increase yield. One thing I really messed up was letting them veg 7 weeks I was a little misinformed on when I should switch to flower and as a result got really shitted on by stretching lmao. Plus they were only in about 3 gallons of soil a piece so the yield definitely suffered. Either way I can say this strain is a very forgiving one cause there were a lot of things I couldve been better about but they kept going like a champ. 1 out of the 4 plants were off, possibly to bad genetics or my own mishandling. Either way I kept it going and stripped it all to make some potent ass hash. Black jack also seemed to have a variety of phenotypes. I had 2 that were full of dense buds with purple leaves and dark red hairs, one stretched pretty bad and the other was manageable. The other was a runt and produced a little looser buds with lighter orange hairs but it was very frosty with huge trichromes I could almost examine by eye.
Harvesting was definitely more of a pain than I expected. This is why for my grow ive just started I plan to top and lst then strip away any branches growing loose buds. I flushed and left in the dark for 4 days before getting to the dirty work. I took a sample before flushing and dried and I can 100% say that flushing is well worth it. The bud I got before was very hard on my chest and burned quite a bit.
In the end I got some great smoke. I would recommend this strain to any first timers. If a dumbass like me can do it anyone can. Ive noticed though while looking up plant problems theres a thousand different answers, so I think this time around im going to start a grow journal to reduce my amount of google searches lol
Hope this helped!

Thanks everybody and bushdoctor you won't go wrong growing anything from sweet. I plan on breaking the blackjack out in just a few. Sorry I didn't post any pics but the old lady won't let me right now. I know don't laugh.
